I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for your generosity, for supporting us by providing the produce for our annual Christmas lunch for the Chelsea Pensioners. This occasion is close to our hearts at the restaurant and very important to all of us, so your help in making it such a success is greatly appreciated.

Had to drop you a line after my recent visit to Direct Meats to work with your current apprentices on their Theory and practical work. It was so refreshing to see their progression both on the course and within the company. It is amazing to see that a former apprentice and on who is now at the end of his programme now running the Pork cutting room with both such professionalism and enthusiasm.

This is a testament to all at Direct Meats who help drive forward the apprenticeship programme.

I just wanted to drop you and all the team at Dingley Dell and Direct Meats a note at this truly unprecedented time to say a huge thank you for all of your help and support in maintaining the supply chain, which is allowing COOK to continue making our meals and deliver them to our customers, many of whom are in vulnerable groups or self-isolating, so our meals are genuine lifelines during the challenges we are all facing.

The demand for our food has increased significantly in recent weeks and this has led to huge uplifts in the meat we buy from you, and your regular communications and general responses to such increases have been exceptional and all of us here at COOK are extremely grateful.

In these uncertain times relationships really do play a vital part in how we interact with each other and it is such a pleasure to be tackling these challenges together, as I know we will be able to overcome obstacles together. If we can help you in anyway, please do let me know.
