Butchery Apprentices
Blackwell & Co. have been training butchery apprentices on site for 10 years.
We work with a local training provider – M.E.A.T Ipswich – to offer Levels 1, 2 and 3 accredited qualifications.
M.E.A.T Ipswich are a National Training Organisation with over 35 years’ experience, delivering high quality training in the fresh food and meat industry. They deliver certificates, awards, intermediate and advanced apprenticeships, food safety and hygiene, HACCP and nutrition training.

Our Training Plan
At Blackwell & Co. we offer individual training plans for all team members, across all our departments. We offer a marketing training program and we are committed to an 18 month leadership training programme with our local training institute. We also organise regular farm tours for both staff and customers.
